The department is equipped with the following primary machinery: nr. 1 3-axis CNC milling cutter for machining steel parts. nr. 1 3-axis CNC milling cutter for the processing of copper electrodes and steel parts. nr. 1 3-axis CNC milling cutter for the processing of graphite and copper electrodes. nr. 3 wire electrosion EDM machines (Electrical discharge machine). nr. 1 die sinking electrosion EDM machine for copper electrodes. nr. 1 die sinking electrosion EDM machine for graphite and copper electrodes. nr. 1 micro-drilling machine. nr. 1 grinding machine. The machines are connected with a CAD-CAM communication system. Mold design is performed with an updated modeling program. The mold design office works on 3D models prepared by the technical office with which it collaborates for the general setting of the mold to be produced. |
